Can use 3 or 4 bottles in system boiler for small drop to fix leak?
Shah from United Kingdom
Hello
3-4 bottles can be used in a system boiler, as long as they are added into the system properly, following the instructions on the bottle. Although there may be no need to exceed 1-2 bottles being used.
As every household and leak are different, with varying pipework diameters, it’s quite difficult to equate an exact quantity. Although there is a method to work out the dosage in a system through using the KW of the boiler as a guide. For a standard 30KW boiler this equates to 2 bottles.
Every 250ml bottle should be added into the system one at a time, and the heating system refilled and tested after each one is added. This should be repeated until the leak is fixed or you have reached your maximum dosage. If you have reached your maximum dosage and the leak still persists, unfortunately, Miracle Seal will not be able to stop the leakage.
When Using Miracle Seal it is recommended to dilute the solution prior to adding it to the system. Usually one part MS to one part water, giving an overall diluted solution of 500ml. This should then be added into the middle of the system, preferably through a radiator.
If there are any wire mesh strainers incorporated in the pipework they may need to be removed or perforated, as any leak sealer will react to wire mesh as though the mesh is multiple pinhole leaks.
Thanks

Do you think 1-2 bottles of this would seal a water drip in a tank with about 300 gal of water.
Daron from United States
Hello, the manufacturer recommends using 1 bottle for each 25 litres of water. To seal a 300 gallon tank would therefore require 55 bottles. Thank you for your enquiry.

I have an underground PVC pipe leaking, will Miracle Seal liquid work?
Ronald from Jamaica
Hello, Miracle Seal will only work in a closed system, such as a heating or cooling system, as it has to stay in the pipework for it to take effect. It will not work on supply pipes or waste pipes as the liquid will simply flow past the leak. Thank you for your enquiry.
